COVID-19 Updates

A letter from West Laurel Hill Cemetery & Funeral Home and Laurel Hill Cemetery’s President & CEO, Nancy Goldenberg.

The grounds of Laurel Hill & West Laurel Hill Cemeteries remain open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day so we can continue to serve families. While we understand the frustration of isolation and quarantine, we recommend following public health orders of staying at home if you do not need our services. If you do enter our grounds for any reason, we urge the importance of practicing social distancing protocols and avoiding gatherings of any kind. Per the CDC, “social distancing means remaining out of congregate settings, avoiding mass gatherings, and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible.”

Our staff is available at any time by phone and by appointment to assist families for funeral, cemetery and crematory needs. Our office doors remain closed and we ask you call us in advance of arriving to West Laurel Hill, should you need in-person assistance or intend to pick up cremated remains.

We will continue to assist with funeral needs as well as burials and graveside services with limitations. Our crematory remains open; however, we are limiting cremation witnessing. Please call us for more information.

For the health safety of our families, we ask that you follow in your own vehicle when touring available properties with your Family Service Representative.

We have suspended memorial services and luncheons taking place in our Funeral Home, Conservatory and Chapel of Peace until further notice.

If you need assistance with a burial or cremation, contact us at (610) 668-9900 or [email protected].

All programming and tours at Laurel Hill & West Laurel Hill Cemeteries have been cancelled until further notice. We are currently suspending facility rental inquiries and private tour requests until we have more information about reopening our buildings. Please check our websites and social media pages for updated information.

We hope that instituting precautions now will help minimize the spread of Coronavirus. We appreciate your patience and understanding and will continue to monitor the situation daily and provide updates on our operations regularly.
